President Goodluck Jonathan Commissions Krisoral & Co.LTD ROPP Plant

The 30th of August, 2012 will remain indelible in the minds of management and staff of Krisoral Group of Companies. It was a day when history was made in the Harbour Ind. Layout, Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. On that fateful day, the president and commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Dr. Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan (GCFR) arrived at the premises of Krisoral Group of Companies. His mission was to commission the company’s newest manufacturing plant, the ultra-modern Roll On Pilfer Proof (ROPP) Cap of one of its subsidiaries, krisoral & Company Ltd. As expected, the president’s visit attracted visitors from far and near who trooped to the company’s premises to have a glimpse of the president live and to partake in this historic event. After some anxious waiting, the president indeed came as promised with a large entourage of ministers and other cabinet members. Also in the entourage was the Anambra State governor, Mr. Peter Obi who led the federal and state legislators to the occasion.

The president commissioned the new plant, witnessed the production process, and was delighted that an indigenous entrepreneur could create a one-stop-shop plant on ROPP Cap. He praised the GMD, CEO, and Chief Oranu Chidume for his entrepreneurial ingenuity, foresight and resourcefulness. Having completed the noble assignment, the president took his leave, just about one hour after his arrival. But his exit didn’t end the occasion. All other activities continued, including speeches, music, and dance. Indeed, the entire harbor industrial layout was agog with excitement and celebration at the presidential visit, which still resonates to this day.
